Are you checking-out or checking-in when things get rough?

Have you ever found yourself mindlessly binging on Netflix? Outlander, perhaps? Me neither, but I've read about it on the internet, or maybe, just maybe I found myself watching episode after episode of our favorite Scott, Jamie Fraser this past week.

At first blush, I could justify it and say I was resting by watching hours of Outlander. I deserve the time off.

But if I'm honest, that wasn't the case–and that's why we're here for real talk about building your business.

Nope. I wasn't resting. I was avoiding uncomfortable and vulnerable feelings around my business. I was checked-out.

You see, before I found myself admiring the benefits of a man in a kilt, I had been in a meeting with my Mastermind when my FULL on Imposter Monster reared her head.

One of the amazing, kick-ass women in the group shared her story of growth and clarity. One moment, I was admiring her for it, and then bam my imposter monster took over.

Oh me, oh my, the imposter monster wasn't playing around.

She was full of stories about how I could never dream of being all that? Who was I to draw comparisons?

And of course, she wanted to keep me isolated because that's what the imposter does.

I didn't speak up when I was with a group of my most trusted confidants.

Finally, after a week, I had to admit that I couldn't go on this way unless I wanted to quit what I do and get a job at the local book store.

And that wasn't going to work, because I LOVE my business, I work with AMAZING women helping them to build and grow their businesses. AND on most days, I know I'm damn good at what I do, and I get to work mostly in my yoga pants. Seriously, it doesn't get much better.

So, on my weekly check-in call with Sarah Papp, I took a deep breath and confessed what had been happening in my head.

Sarah is a Master Life Coach, and a ninja at spotting when you are operating out of alignment with your highest self. She will call you on that b.s. in no time flat with all the love in the world.

And that was precisely what she did.

Sarah was able to help me recognize, reframe, and reform my thoughts.

I went from immobile and checked-out to checked-in and moving!

I want each one of you to have the tools to move from checked-out to checked-in in your business, too.

Do you want to go through 2020 checking-out when things get hard in your business?

If not, then I invite you to join Sarah and me for a FREE call on Wednesday, January 29, at 1 pm ET. We will be live via Zoom and FB Live. (If you can't make it live, if you register here, you will be emailed a recording.)

We will be talking about our experiences checking-out vs. checking-in, and there will be the opportunity to be coached live if you join via Zoom.

I hope to see you there!

P.S. You can register here for all the details and the call recording.
